Photovoice
Discover how students see the classroom learning environment.
Photovoice is a method of documenting and communicating a particular point of view. For this activity, students will be given a week to take, print, and title a photo that captures what it is like for them to be a student in your class. The photos will then be assembled into an exhibit or gallery. After students have a chance to view the gallery, hold a collective conversation in which they can share their reflections. This activity is meant to solicit student voice on classroom culture.
