Ashley Boat, Ph.D.
Senior Research Scientist
Ashley is an applied research scientist and seeks to advance our understanding of how a web of developmental relationships promotes the wellbeing of young people. She is a former teacher and program evaluator and is passionate about conducting inclusive, equity-focused, and practice-relevant research. Ashley holds a doctoral degree in Family Science with a focus on prevention, as well as master degrees in public health and special education. She is well-versed in a range of study designs and mixed methods and uses her analytical skills to develop empirically rigorous research to better meet the needs of all youth. Ashley believes young people are our greatest asset. She dedicates her energy and research to ensuring all young people have what they need to thrive as their authentic selves.
