Karen Kingsley is Senior Director of Youth & Family Services at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. In that capacity, she leads a $13 million portfolio of statewide programming that annually serves more than 4,000 youth who have experienced homelessness, are aging out of foster care, are involved in the juvenile justice system, or who have experienced exploitation. Karen has a background in public policy advocacy, systems change, and service delivery dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children, youth, and families. Karen received a graduate degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duke University.
