Booster: Challenge Growth
We all want to help young people grow into themselves. That means expecting their best, encouraging them to go beyond their comfort zone and live up to their potential. But how can we be more effective in challenging young people so that they experience motivation and growth, while building their capacity to navigate failure as they take risks and explore their world? Join other youth-serving adults to reflect on a grounded and practical approach to challenging growth among young people.
“Having an adult say to you, 'I think you’re capable and I’m not gonna do this for you because I know you can do this' is a huge thing that I don’t think a lot of teenagers get.”
