Co-construct a Lesson Plan
Involve the class in co-constructing a lesson plan for an upcoming class.
Co-constructing a lesson plan allows students to reflect on which classroom activities and instructional approaches best support their learning. It also strengthens the student-teacher relationship by allowing students to see the thought that goes into crafting an effective lesson. Partnering with students to improve (or develop) a lesson plan will also make them more invested in the lesson, as they have had a say in its design.
