Critical Friends Protocol
Engage in a discussion that allows the class to co-construct classroom norms and a positive classroom culture.
This protocol will allow students to discuss classroom culture and classroom norms with the help of a teacher. A facilitator leads the conversation by asking questions that help the group explore the subject more deeply. The goal is to understand essential questions based on their own experiences, clarify their thinking, challenge assumptions, and come up with ideas for taking action.
