Video Guided Response
Discover how students are experiencing homework and moving toward a goal through a metacognitive guide.
Using Microsoft’s Flip or another video/audio recording system, students provide video feedback about how they’re progressing through an assignment. This feedback allows teachers to notice trends, make changes, or address concerns. In order to facilitate this activity, teachers will need to post prompts and allow time for students to record responses. Afterward, the teacher should review the student videos and adjust the assignment as needed. This activity solicits student voice on a particular assignment or assessment.
